A lot of you might be wondering what the hell is happening to this site, and why haven't I updated in eons. There isn't any easy answer to this question, so I'm just going to explain the situation in a pseudo-mathematical equation:

Work + OtherComicsInProduction + Commissions + ViolinPractice+ LackOfInspiration + WritersBlock = NoDWP.

Okay, so maybe that equation is a bit vague, but the point is, besides having a truckload of work, both for Flipside and freelance projects, I am also working on 2 new comic projects (which other people are writing), am taking my violin lessons quite seriously (painfully, in fact, my fingers are going numb from too much practice), and I am in serious need of inspiration and a cure for writer's block. I also forgot to mention that I am officially in recession- I'm both trying to earn as much as I can and save as much as I can which means I need to spend more time in profit making activities.

So what happens now?

Well, the plan is, I will continue making DWP strips for Game magazine, where Cel and Pixie will continue to exist. But other than that, I can't really say if I will be able to continue the storyline (I know the Cel-Parker fans will be disappointed) any time soon. It all depends on whether I can fix my story enough for me to want to continue it, and if I ever do decide to continue it, I will be better prepared for it (which means I'm going to have to make a lot more strips in advance).

I'm also planning to reformat the entire site, and revert it back to what it was originally intended to be. Although that is going to take even a lot more work, and it will be like starting from scratch, but it's the only way I'm ever going to be able to go through this without throwing DWP (the comic -which I should probably rename...) into the can entirely.

I can't really tell you what exactly is going to happen, because I don't really know yet what exactly I'm going to do to the site. All I can tell you guys right now is that DWP has always been kind of an experiment for me, and making the site and the comics and all has been both a fun and tiring experience. I learned a lot, certainly, and I met a lot of great people and gained more opportunities because of this site. This isn't the end of Cel and Pixie. And I'm certainly not going to stop making comics. All I can hope for is that you guys will continue to support me and stick around for my new projects.

I'm not really sure how to end this post because this isn't supposed to be a goodbye post or anything. So I guess I'll just end it by saying: "see you around."
